As young generation, we should know that most people haven’t good reading habits because people haven’t realized the importance of reading.

Reading is very important to develop and increase knowledge. by reading a person can know the world. We will understand something without we don’t see by ourselves. in every paragraph that we read consists of a lot of knowledge. knowledge of technology or grammar are needed to improve the quality of human’s life. valuable books would not be meaningful if they don’t read. 

Realizing the importance of reading will motivate someone to read. when we know something very important because it can give us good information and knowledge, we will attempt to try or do something
as an application of what we get. for example a chef always follows the latest information about the world of cooking, he'll know what to do for his restaurant. he would make a good decision to make famous his restaurant. many people in developed countries already have good reading habits. they enjoy reading which gives them knowledge, inspiration and motivation.

To plant an understanding the importance of reading in youth’s minds is not easy. It needs a hard work from all components of the nation, especially the government. Serious campaign organized by central and local governments can help the public to face real competition in this globalization era. Campaigns can be done through various mass media such as TV, radio, newspapers, and magazines. It can also be done by teachers, parents and everyone who cares. 

Therefore an effective national campaign about the importance of reading to be done by all components of the nation, facilitated by the government. if we can make reading as a necessity not just a duty, it will motivate us to read anytime and anywhere. To accelerate change for the better quality of human’s life, a good reading habit is very important.
